HUBUNGAN FAKTOR SOSIO-DEMOGRAFI DENGAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG INFEKSI MENULAR SEKSUAL (IMS) PADA PEREMPUAN DI INDONESIA: ANALISIS SURVEI DHS 2017
Abstract
Latar Belakang : Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) merupakan tantangan signifikan bagi kesehatan masyarakat, terutama di negara-negara berpenghasilan rendah dan menengah. Di Indonesia, kesenjangan pengetahuan tentang IMS di kalangan perempuan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor sosiodemografi; namun, data komprehensif mengenai hubungan ini masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan antara karakteristik sosiodemografi dan pengetahuan tentang IMS di kalangan perempuan di Indonesia menggunakan data dari Survei Demografi dan Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2017. Metode :Analisis cross-sectional dilakukan pada sampel 49.627 perempuan berusia ≥ 15 tahun. Variabel dependen adalah pengetahuan tentang IMS. Variabel independen meliputi usia, pendidikan, status perkawinan, indeks kekayaan, dan tempat tinggal. Uji chi-square bivariat dan regresi logistik multivariat digunakan untuk menilai hubungan dengan tingkat signifikansi P < 0,05. Hasil : Sebanyak 81,58% perempuan melaporkan memiliki pengetahuan tentang IMS. Pendidikan yang lebih tinggi (p < 0,001), tempat tinggal di perkotaan (p < 0,001), status menikah (p < 0,001), dan indeks kekayaan yang lebih tinggi (p < 0,001) memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan pengetahuan tentang IMS. Kesimpulan : Perempuan muda (15-24 tahun) menunjukkan kesadaran yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan yang lebih tua. Faktor sosiodemografi seperti pendidikan, kekayaan, dan tempat tinggal secara signifikan memengaruhi pengetahuan tentang IMS di kalangan perempuan Indonesia, menegaskan perlunya edukasi kesehatan masyarakat yang terarah, terutama bagi kelompok yang kurang beruntung
