ANALISIS PERILAKU HIDUP SEHAT REMAJA PUTRI BERDASARKAN PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP, DAN PRAKTIK TERKAIT DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 1

Pendahuluan: Diabetes melitus tipe 1 (DMT1) adalah penyakit kronis yang sering terjadi pada anak-anak dan remaja. Pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik (KAP) memegang peran penting dalam pencegahan dan deteksi dini DMT1. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap siswa dengan praktik pola hidup sehat dalam upaya pencegahan DMT1. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan inferensial kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental satu kelompok (one-group pretest-posttest). Partisipan terdiri dari siswa kelas XI SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara Medan yang bersedia mengikuti sesi edukasi DMT1. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, yang mengukur pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik pola hidup sehat. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Pearson untuk menilai hubungan antar variabel dan regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap praktik. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang sangat kuat antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik. Analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap praktik pola hidup sehat. Secara parsial, sikap memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap praktik (p < 0,001), sedangkan pengetahuan tidak signifikan jika sikap dikontrol (p = 0,181). Diskusi: Sikap siswa merupakan faktor dominan yang memengaruhi penerapan praktik pola hidup sehat dalam pencegahan DMT1, sedangkan pengetahuan berpengaruh positif tergantung pada sikap. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya program edukasi yang menekankan pembentukan sikap positif untuk mendorong perilaku hidup sehat di kalangan siswa.
